Family Home Evening

This Monday night we went out on the town. The town of Pacific Grove, that is. Pacific Grove is right next to Monterey and it's known as America's last hometown. It has a cute little main street lined with little shops. A hardware store, a market, a post office, antique shops, ice cream parlors, a library, etc. Plus it's right on the beach. We live on the border of Monterey and PG. It's a really nice, quiet town to live in. We stopped by the Farmer's Market and I bought a bag of almonds to use in homemade granola. Then we waled around downtown for a little while before going to the movies.
This is the little Lighthouse Cinemas theater. We saw Race to Witch Mountain. It was pretty good. Bonus: Monday night is free popcorn night!

We had the whole theater to ourselves so when Jessica woke up we just walked around the theater with her till she fell asleep again. She loves going to the movies.

All bundled up to go into the chilly night!

Oh those eyes! Those are definitely momma's eyes. I miss Monterey, but glad you're taking advantage of it while you're still there. :)
