Tolman Family

Today there was a HUGE thunderstorm so we stayed inside and made a "reading fort."   For a while we just laid there and listened to the rain.  Sippy cups and a bowl of m&ms made our fort complete.  It was a nice afternoon. In a related story, we had workers come and put in a sprinkler system for us.  This is the first time we've ever hired someone for something big like that, so I wasn't sure what to expect.  I think I got walked on a little bit, and probably overpaid, but whatever.  I thought it was pretty funny because the second day they were supposed to be here they called and said that the forecast said it was going to rain, so they weren't going to come that day.  I looked out the window and didn't see any clouds, but I said that was fine.  It didn't rain a drop all day.  Then today, when they did come, there was a torrential downpour.  Ironic...and funny.  They said they're pretty much done now, they just have to come back Monday
