Jessica Kelly

So, we've been home from the hospital for a week now, and we are loving life! Grandma Martin left a couple days ago, and Grandma Bennett is on her way this weekend. Above is a picture of Jessica's first trip to the beach. We layed on the grass while Daddy went for a run. She loved being out and about.

Daddy loves his beautiful baby. It has been so fun to see how cute Hank is with Jessica. She already has him wrapped around her little finger!


We forgot to put a few details on our first post. Jessica weighed 5 lb 14 oz when she was born and was 18 inches long. At our pediatrician checkup yesterday she already weighed 6 lb 10 oz. She's getting so big!

So fun to see new pics of your little cutie! She is growing- that's wonderful! It's so fun to watch your husband with your babies it makes you love them even more! We miss you guys!

She is just darling! I bet you and Hank are just loving lifer right now. Isn't it just wonderful? I hope our girls can meet each other sometime during the holidays. Are you guys going up to Utah for Christmas? I can't wait to see her in person her pics are so cute.

I am finally blogging about our big trip to Hawaii last month. It was our 3rd anniversary and our dear friends, the Barnums, said we could come visit them anytime we wanted....so we did! Here are a lot of pictures, in no particular order: On the actual day of our anniversary, April 19th, Hank and I left the baby with a sitter and hit the town by ourselves. Since I wasn't a fan of the whole snorkling thing, we took a submarine ride to get a good view of the sea life. Yes, that is a real sea turtle in the real ocean, 100 ft underwater. I snapped this picture out my window. The view of Waikiki from our sub before we went under. The flag at the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor. So Sleepy . . .

So, we may be terrible parents, but we thought this was so funny. Jessica wouldn't take an afternoon nap today and by dinnertime she was exhausted. She was so tired that she couldn't even chew her food. The best part was that Hank could not stop laughing at her and it was keeping her awake. This video was much longer, but I cut it down...because watching a baby fall asleep may not be as interesting to you as it was to us.
