Ice cold Lemonade!

Image
We had a garage sale today and the kids had their first lemonade stand.  We made fresh squeezed lemonade (and it was pretty darn good, I must say), and sold cookies.  Although I think Cameron ate most of the cookies himself. Every time a customer stopped at our garage sale Jessica would yell, "Ice cold lemonade! .25 cents!"  No one could resist and she sold quite a few cups.    Jessica was a good little salesman, but she got tired of it easily and would run off to do other things.  Cameron, on the other hand sat there all day!  He even yelled gibberish to everyone.  Here, he is cooling down by dumping an entire water bottle on himself because it was a thousand degrees outside. I made about $180, but I didn't even sell half of my stuff.  Not enough people come to Huachuca City, and the ones who do want to buy things super cheap (so they can take it to Mexico and sell it again.  Literally.). I'm not sure if you know this, but Hank is kind of a Queen fan.  So, when he heard that the "Queen Extravaganza" was going to be in Las Vegas, a mere 10 hours away, he immediately bought tickets to the concert.  Last weekend we packed up the minivan and headed for Sin City.    My Dad and sisters, Jessica and Melanie met us there from Utah.   Sweet Melanie watched the kids in the hotel while we went to the concert.    Hank's brother Andrew came, too. P.S.  I just want you to know that for some reason these pictures were very difficult to upload.  Normally I would have just yelled and given up, but i am committed to blogging!  I figured it out and posted this just for you.  You're welcome.

I'd like to introduce, drumroll please... Did you know that we have a son?!  Yes, this is Cameron James Tolman and he is a whopping 14 months old!  We have had him for quite some time and are pretty fond of him even though this is his first appearance on our blog.  I have a very serious blogging problem which is as soon as I get a little behind I feel like it will take a lot of work to catch up so I put it off, then I get even farther behind until soon it has been over a year since my last post.  So, I'm sorry, but I'm not even going to attempt to catch up - I'm just going to start from here.  I have millions of pictures, but I am just going to choose a few for your viewing pleasure.     Cameron started out as a pretty scrawny little guy.  He was born a month early and had to spend a couple weeks in the NICU for underdeveloped lungs, but then he came home and grew like crazy.  This is the sweetest boy you ever did meet. ...
